We all have made our lists and while Santa is busy checking it twice, I want to help everyone get the gift of travel whether they were naughty or nice. (Listen I'm a Travel Agent not a poet).

You could be like everyone else who looks forward to Christmas morning with paper flying and kids squealing, Mom on the couch with her coffee, thinking she really got them this year. Dad is armed with a trash bag, screwdrivers and batteries ready to assemble all the toys that will be forgotten by Easter. You end the day with beginning the countdown of 364 days to feel that magic again.

OR

You could gift a Trip this year for Christmas and keep the magic alive all throughout the year.

This blog is going to go into why gifting Travel is going to be best gift you can give this year.

IT GIVES EVERYONE SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO

Let's get the most obvious out of the way. I talked about it above; there is nothing worse than depending on one day a year to bring magical joy to the whole house. When you decide that a trip is going to be one of the presents under the Christmas tree this year you are guaranteeing more joy.

Experiences Bring More Happiness Than Stuff

We have all been there, the blissful quietness of kids playing with their new toys in their rooms, no one is fighting, life is good. How long does that last in your household? If you're lucky until the weekend before kids go back to school. I can promise you this they won't remember the toys they got all those years, but a vacation will create memories that last a lifetime.

It's Personalized and Thoughtful

Now I don't want to pick on men too much in this blog but trust me when I tell you your wife does not want the gift set from Walmart down that aisle.

You know what aisle I am talking about

These last few months before Christmas take a mental toll on everyone. I am here to take that mental load off of you guys. I have you fill out a quick client questionnaire. (Link Below)

We hop on a quick introduction zoom meeting, and I take it from there. Your only decision after that will be a yes and what to pack!

Don't forget to peep at your spouse's reposts and likes for destination ideas we can talk about. We'll have a personalized and thoughtful gift wrapped under the tree.

I mean could you imagine the bragging to Susan with her new Instapot that you guys are headed to an all-inclusive in the Dominican for a week, but you'll be happy to come over for dinner when you get back?

It's ok don't brag just give them my number.

It Sparks Curiosity and Connection

Unfortunately, with the ever-expanding technology in this world, our actual human connection grows smaller by the day. We try and talk to the kids about their days; cue the eyerolls.

Our spouses are constantly looking to get lost in mindless scrolling to unwind after a long day.

Now take that trip we booked for you guys and imagine the conversations to be had. You can talk about the destinations, the food, the excursions, the resorts, and have actual meaningful conversations again with the whole family. When I was a kid every trip we took, we were allowed to choose one excursion or special adventure to go on, task your kids with researching and find theirs. Then call me and I'll schedule it for you.

It Can Fit Any Budget

The idea of a trip or travel can vary by person and so can budgets. Of course, some people have those bucket list trips that took years to save for, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with a weekend getaway.  This time of year, can be expensive, travel doesn't have to break the bank. I just want people to get out of the house and explore this beautiful world. When you work with me, I have a vast amount of suppliers that share that same goal and offer deposits as low as $40, or even have book now pay later options.

I have said it before and I will keep saying it, travel is the only thing you spend money on that you truly get something back from that lasts a lifetime. The toys will break; the clothes will get too small; the appliances and gadgets will need to be replaced in a few years' time, but memories will only grow more valuable. It will be all we have left of loved ones, the moments that carry us through long workdays, and the gift that keeps giving long after the trip is over.

I don't like to promote violence, but we are snatching the best gift giver crown away from Santa this year.

While elves are busy packing Santa's sleigh, let this elf help you get busy packing your own bags. DON'T FORGET YOUR CROWN!

As Always Take the Trip
