From Save the Date to Safe Arrival: How Custom Travel Landing Pages Simplify Your Event

CONGRATULATIONS!
Now you are probably wondering why I am congratulating you. I mean we all deserve at least one of those every day for making it to the next, especially when we just all survived the past year (I mean the Month of January). But this blog post is going to focus on the Milestones in life you'll be celebrating.
The best part about any Milestone in life is the celebrating right? I mean sure you found your soulmate and are getting married but that wedding! Your adding birthday candles to that cake, but the party!
The worst part can be the logistics of the guests getting to your epic event. This is where the customized landing page I create for my clients comes in. You are going to be too busy focusing on themes, food choices, vendors and more to worry about if Uncle Joe actually makes it there. (Don't worry I'll get him there, I heard he gives good gifts). Let's get into what working with me and curating one of these pages consist of.
Customization
You as the client will get a completely customized page to share with your guests, where I will highlight the guest of honor, the event, venue, and travel accommodations ready to book at a click of a button.
Accommodations
There are so many options when it comes to where guests can stay. In the days of old room blocks at hotels was the way to go.
Spoiler Alert: It is not now.
Instead, I will have a hotel recommendation tab all set up for them to choose from. I will make sure the hotels have a nice range in pricing and amenities, along with directions to your chosen venue. Most of my suppliers also offer a book now pay later option, so we can get their rooms reserved without guests worrying about paying for it right away.
Rental Cars/Flights/Things To Do
Now I am honest if not anything else. Flights are the least favorite part of a Travel Agent's job. There are so many factors that can mess up someone's air travel. But, not to worry. There will be tabs for your guests to book those as well. I also offer Rental Car options. It's always nice to go out and explore a new place. That is also why I will have a link for them to go and check out on Viator some things to do when they aren't celebrating!
I know the stigma that people have when they hear travel agent. But my mission with this option is to change their opinion.
Keeping Up With Everyone
I know a common thing is to provide guests with a little goodie bag to welcome them to your event. When they book through the provided links, you'll know who is where to coordinate that little extra special touch. You'll also know when everyone arrives and leaves for anything special you might have planned before and after the big day.
